about this blog

traintracks2This blog started as a way to chronicle my experiences while living in the massive, harrowing and enchanting wilderness. Since the conception of this idea, my external wilderness has ceased to be my surrounding, despite all my silent or obstreperous protests. As a result, I thought my muse was gone, and that I lost a reason (or a right) to write (or to ruminate for that matter). Yet, as this location change prompted an initially reluctant redefinition of my life, it is starting to become an embraced reinvention of the self.
